Current October Writing Contests

I may not have a lot of time to write for my own pleasure this week, but I sure can promote stuff!  (I have a Final Draft of my Nike/Mary Magdalene paper due this week.)  These are the current contests that I know about (and in no particular order):

A tiny little bit of inspiration...
Killing isn't easy. Being killed isn't either, for that matter, most of the times. But say that someone who should have been dead, someone who you killed or you saw die, isn't. And what do you do then?
The Prompt
Someone presumed dead reappears. You thought this someone was dead, right, because you saw it happen... but did you stay to check? No, I don't think so. You didn't stay to give help, either, so you're as guilty as the killer. Maybe you're the killer. Or the killed?

In other news, I go to the doctor this morning for my heart.  My tachycardia acted up enough last week that it sent me to the ER.  I already had an appointment with my doctor set for today, but after the ER visit on September 29, I tried to move it up and couldn't cause she was full up on appointments for the time frame I could get in at, so I just ended up keeping this one and dealing with my heart rate being fast.  It really all came about because I don't have my heart medicine, but hopefully that will be fixed today.
