Three Bean Chili

Hi hi everyone! Here is some chili I made this past Saturday nigh (10/13/12). It has come to be known around my place as Jen's Three Bean Chili. it is a combination of a Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook recipe and advice I got from my dad. Feel free to add or take away what you want! (Both Dad and the recipe recommended sweet green peppers, but I dislike those so I left them out.)

Recipe as follows:

-3 lbs Ground Beef, browned and drained
-1 large Onion, diced
-1 15 oz can Dark Red Kidney Beans
-1 15 oz can Pinto Beans
-1 15 oz can Black Beans
-1 8oz can Tomato Sauce (I use Hunt's)
-1 14.5 oz can Diced Tomatoes (Hunt's again), undrained
-3 tsp Chili Powder (can use more if you like)
-2 tsp Cumin
-2 tsp Cilantro
-4 tsp Granulated Garlic
-Salt and Pepper to taste

All the spices are to taste, but this is where I started. I put it all in the Slow Cooker, and am cooking it on High for 4-5 hours.

Top as you like. We'll be using cheese, but you can also use diced onion or sour cream. I also got Fritos Corn Chips to put the Chili on top of as a Chili Frito Salad, something I used to have growing up. ^_^
